I'm no stranger to travel, I even got engaged in Paris and married in Australia! In addition, I've traveled all over the world in the more than four decades that I've been a travel agent. It's these experiences that set me apart from others that may be more "armchair travelers". My experiences have also helped me forge alliances with tour operators, hotels and cruise companies that are beneficial to my clients. My agency offers travel products and pricing that aren't available anywhere else.
I have traveled to virtually every port in the Caribbean and extensively throughout Europe, visiting all over Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the UK. I also enjoy booking cruises, to the Caribbean and Mexico, as well as to more exotic ports, such as those in New Zealand, Asia and the South Pacific. I enjoy sharing my first-hand knowledge with my clients and giving them tips I've learned that can help make their trips more enjoyable and stress-free.
I studied travel and travel management in college. I'm also a big fan of continuing education, especially since things change so frequently in the travel industry. To that end, I've earned dozens of travel certifications and actively seek out new training opportunities. Of course, I haven't stopped traveling. I feel seeing ships, destinations and hotels first-hand is the best way to help my clients pick the best possible vacation for them.
As your trusted advisor, I am here to help with any issues that may arise before or during your travel experience. I once helped newlywed clients move to a different, better resort when the resort they were staying at had a Sargassum (seaweed) problem. I was able to ensure they received no penalties for the switch, and they ended up enjoying the Honeymoon of their dreams.
I love helping clients book travel experiences that go far beyond their expectations. One of my favorite trips I’ve ever booked was a hot air balloon wedding over Napa Valley - they got married in the sky! I also once planned a trip for a client’s 65th birthday – a 65 day trip throughout Asia and Australia.
